Our technicians construct your
prosthetic device according to
your specific needs. |
Central Fabrication:
We have found in nearly 60 years in the business of orthotic and prosthetic care that no two
patients are alike. We also know that if a medical device is uncomfortable, most people will not wear it.
This is why we maintain a full-service fabrication facility in Hooksett, NH, where our devices are created from raw materials such as plastic sheets,
plastic resins, carbon fiber, various metals, leather and foams.
|
Our process begins with precise measurements and a cast of the part of
your body that needs treatment. Our technicians then go to work creating an exact replica
in plaster or foam. We use this replica to custom build your device so that it
fits perfectly. This is a labor-intensive process, but when we see you
smile, we know it is worth it!
Custom designs to fit your life:
Not all amputees are looking to climb a mountain or
run a marathon. Most are simply trying to get on their feet and back to
their normal lives. We realize that these devices will be a big part of
their lives no matter what they do. Our prosthetics team works with each
patient to create a prosthetic limb that meets his or her unique needs.
